On May 9, 2014, David Weekley Homes announced that the company was named the largest privately-held home builder in America and 18th overall, according to BUILDER Magazine’s BUILDER 100 List, published online that day.
“To reach this prestigious position on the BUILDER Top 100 List as the largest privately-held home builder in America is an absolute honor,” said David Weekley, chairman of David Weekley Homes.
“There is not a doubt that we would not achieve such great success if it were not for our dedicated Team Members. The growth David Weekley Homes is experiencing is incredible and we are looking forward to the future of the improving housing market.”
The BUILDER 100 List is compiled from data collected by BUILDER magazine via direct survey of the nation’s top builders. The BUILDER 100 (and the Next 100) list is comprised of both private and public builders and identifies the top home builders in America by annual closings, gross revenue, and rate of change year over year, as well as information about where and what they build.
